Hobbies and Interests

  CLOGGING - Jan spends every Wednesday night and several full weekends each year participating in this bizarre folk dance ritual.

Capital Cloggers - Jan is a self-appointed Social Secretary of the club and haphazard maintainer of its web page - Check it out!.

Australian Clogging Association Inc (ACA) - Jan is the Treasurer of the ACA and was Treasurer for the 11th National Convention in Hobart, August 2006 and the 5th National Convention in Canberra, April 2000.

ORGANISING - Jan was involved in organising reunions for the Australian Bicentennial Exhibition, including the ABE 20th Anniversary Reunion , the ABE 15th Anniversary Reunion and the ABE 10th Anniversary Reunion.

TRAVELLING - Jan escaped from work from July 2008 to September 2009 inclusive and spent time travelling to Brisbane to visit the family and taking trips to New Zealand, Vietnam and Western Australia.

NAGGING - Since 1991, Jan has been married to Ian Rout, the self-appointed Chess Webmaster (go to Ian's page).
